Do you allow additional guests?
Yes. We provide comfortable Japanese Futon Beds for ¥5,000 per night, per additional guest.
Additional guests who are:
6 years or below are eligible for discount - ¥3,000 per futon
6 years or below and don't require a futon are eligible to stay free of charge.
7 years or above are charged the regular fee of ¥5,000 per futon
Do you offer child discounts?
No. Chalets prices are set. We only give child discounts for additional guests (see above).
Can you provide baby cots?
Yes. We offer baby cots for ¥3,000 per cot with bedding.
Can King and Queen beds be split into two singles?
Only some. Please refer to bed configuration specified on each page.
What sort of kitchen appliances do you have?
All Chalets and Cottages are equipped with:
Large refrigerator & freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, boiler, electric induction cooktops (some with gas cooktops), Nespresso machine (with capsules provided).
Cocoon House and Phoenix One chalet have an additional oven.

Do you provide seasoning?
Yes. We provide cooking oil, salt and soy sauce. The perfect Japanese combo! You're welcome to bring your own seasoning or purchase some at the nearby supermarkets.
Do you provide detergent?
Yes. We supply laundry/dishwashing detergents and dishwashing liquid.
Do the chalets have airconditioning?
No. Hakuba does not reach unbearably hot temperatures nor does it get too humid. We encourage guests to open the large chalet windows and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Ceiling fans are installed to help circulate the air.
Hakuba in summer is especially pleasant during the cool evenings and we recommend guests to dine out or cook up a BBQ.
How do we check in?
Check-in is strictly between 16:00 and 18:00. Please meet us at the Phoenix Hotel to perform check in, followed by a quick tour of your chalet.
What if we can't check-in between 16:00 - 18:00?
We can be flexible :) Please inform us of your ETA at least 2 days prior to your check-in date.
It is important to us that you stick to your arrival time in Hakuba, this way we can provide our best services.
If you arrive earlier than 16:00 we may ask you to take a break from all the travelling at one of the nearby cafe / restaurants while we finish preparing your chalet.
What is the check-out procedure?
Check-out is latest by 10:00am. If you wish to check-out earlier, please call us and let us know during your stay.
We will meet you at your chalet and perform a brief inspection to ensure there are no left over belongings.
Late check-outs will cost ¥3,000 per hour after 10:00am. Please inform us in advance if you'd like to arrange a late check-out.
How do I pay?
We accept Credit Card and Paypal (Visa, MasterCard, Amex). All transaction fees are included in our prices.
Is there a payment deadline?
If you are booking through email, we require full payment within 14 days of your booking confirmation.

I want more BBQ meat.
On top of our inviting BBQ packages, I'm afraid additional meat is not an option. However, you can purchase additional ingredients at the local supermarket.
Can we light fireworks?
Yes. But please clean up after yourselves as much as you can :) Children can play freely out the front of the Chalets as long as an adult is supervising.
After 10pm, please keep the music down and enjoy so as not to inconvenience other guests around the area.
